Nasha Hashemi is a non-binary, 24 year old, first-generation Venezuelan-Iranian-Miami-American. They are a long-time Survivor enthusiast and an avid fan of children’s media, especially classics like Zoey101, Arthur, and School of Rock.
Nasha writes for younger audiences and teens because they’re aware of the model it builds for them. They believe that children should learn about new cultures and perspectives from a young age, and they want to share their own. Being multicultural has taught them a lot about being different, coming into their gender, speaking other languages, learning vastly different cultures, and growing up with Inattentive ADHD. Being different is an essential lesson that kids should take pride in, and they want to be the one to show them that.
Graduating from the School of Visual Arts with a BFA in Film, Nasha knew that it was through television that they wanted to share their new perspective while educating and writing comedy that all ages will laugh at and understand. Nasha wants to write what they wish they saw growing up, and Nasha writes for people like them and for viewers like you.
